Word Guess is the five-letter deduction game the whole internet fell for: one secret word, six tries, and a row of colour feedback after every guess. Green means the right letter in the right place, yellow means the letter belongs somewhere else, and grey means it is not in the word at all (or you have already accounted for it). From those three signals, pure logic narrows hundreds of possible words down to one — usually, triumphantly, on guess four or five.
MÉ-MO offers both ways to play. The daily challenge deals everyone the same word, seeded by the date, so your result is directly comparable with friends and your streak means something. Unlimited random rounds are there when you want to practise, experiment with opening words, or chase a better personal strategy without waiting for tomorrow. Every round ends with a shareable result card, because half the fun of this game has always been comparing grids.
The daily word is the same for every player on that date, which makes results comparable and feeds your streak. Random rounds draw a fresh word each time and are unlimited — ideal for practice and for testing opening-word strategies.
Yes, and the colour feedback handles repeats precisely: a letter is coloured green or yellow only as many times as it actually appears in the answer. Extra copies in your guess show grey, which is information, not a contradiction.
Any word that tests three vowels or two vowels plus the common consonants R, S, T, L and N. CRANE and SLATE are popular for a reason. What matters most is having a consistent second-word plan for each common feedback pattern.
